1. What we do not collect

Date of birth and category are the two most sensitive things you type on this site, and we designed it so that we do not receive either. There is no form submission behind the calculator, no background request carrying your input, and no stored history of your calculations. The safest way to protect a piece of personal data is not to receive it, so that is what we do.

2. What is collected

• Standard server records. Like any web server, ours records the address requested, the time, your IP address and your browser's identification. These are used to keep the site working and to investigate faults.
• Your email address — only if you choose to write to us through the contact form, and only to reply to you.
• Cookies — see below.

3. Cookies

We use cookies and local browser storage for site preferences, and to remember your answer to the analytics question at the bottom of the screen. None of them contain your date of birth or your category. You can remove everything this site has stored in your browser using the button at the bottom of this page.

3a. Google Analytics, and your choice about it

We use Google Analytics 4 (property G-1KY9750VN5) to see which exams people look up and how many people come. Google is a third party. It works by setting two cookies of its own — _ga and _ga_1KY9750VN5, counted in a browser rather than recalled from memory — and by sending Google the address of each page you open here, plus your approximate location, your browser and your device type.

It never receives your date of birth or your category. That is not a promise about Google — it follows from how the calculator is built: those two values are never sent anywhere, never put in the page address and never written to a log, so there is nothing about them for any script to pick up.

It does not load until you allow it. Until you press “Allow analytics”, this site makes no request to Google at all — the network tab of your browser will show you that. “No thanks” is remembered too, so the question stops coming back. Clearing this site's data with the button below brings it back.

4. Accuracy is a separate matter
