NDA age limit: are you eligible?
National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination · Union Public Service Commission / Indian Armed Forces
General category
16 – 19 years
measured on candidates must be born within a stated date range, not simply "aged X".
This year’s notification is not out yet. These figures come from the previous one. They are here so you can plan — not as this year’s official limits.
We have not been able to confirm these figures against the official notification. Check the source below before you rely on them.
Check your own date of birth
Your age is measured on the cut-off date, not today — which is why knowing your age is not the same as knowing whether you qualify.
Your date of birth and category stay in this browser. They are not sent to our server, not put in the page address and not written to any log.
Age relaxation by category
This exam gives no category age relaxation.
Not «we do not have the data» — none is granted. The upper limit above is the same for General, OBC, SC, ST and PwBD candidates alike. A calculator that adds the usual +3 or +5 here would tell you that you qualify when you do not.
What the number above does not tell you
🔴 NDA gives NO age relaxation for OBC, SC, ST or PwD — defence entries do not carry caste relaxation. If a calculator adds +3 or +5 here, it is wrong. NDA is also stated as a BORN-BETWEEN date window (roughly 16½ to 19½ years) and requires candidates to be unmarried, so treat the years below as an approximation and read the exact date window in the notification.
